    The portable Trojan Bear, a favorite of children for many years, was created by Jim Love (1927-2005). The wooden bear has a metal framework and sits atop metal wheels. It was first displayed at the intersection of Montrose and Bissonnet in 1974 and was moved to Hermann Park in 1984.
