Before the proposed land acquisition by Harris Health, Hermann Park Conservancy developed a thoughtful concept for Bayou Parkland West that would enhance access to nature, support habitat restoration, and create welcoming spaces for visitors and the nearby medical community. The plans also explored opportunities to improve parking and visitor amenities in ways that would strengthen the overall Park experience.
