Celebrate the Fourth of July surrounded by beautiful blooms, festive fun, and one of Houston’s most beloved fireworks displays! Join us for “Red, White & Bloom” on Saturday, July 4, from 8 – 11 p.m. in the McGovern Centennial Gardens for a fantastic summer evening.

Enjoy free treats, family-friendly activities, music, lawn games, and more before the night wraps up with a spectacular view of the fireworks show from Miller Outdoor Theatre.

Best of all, Red, White & Bloom is FREE and open to the public!

This year is extra special as we mark America’s 250th birthday with a celebration packed with birthday party vibes! We are proudly participating in America250’s America’s Block Party, a nationwide celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday.

Bring a blanket, gather your friends and family, and stroll through the vibrant garden spaces before settling in for the show. Spend Independence Day in this iconic spot, under the stars—a perfect setting for summer memories!

The fireworks show at Miller Outdoor Theatre is set to start at approximately 9:45 p.m. The complimentary food items are while supplies last. Additional food vendors will be offering items for purchase by Miller Outdoor Theatre.
