Hermann Park Conservancy has received numerous awards and gained national recognition for its efforts to improve, restore, and maintain Hermann Park. With the ongoing support of our generous donors, the Conservancy will continue to generate award-winning programs and projects that improve the quality of life for all Houstonians and make the Conservancy an exemplary model for its peers.

Recent honors bestowed upon the Conservancy include:

• Development of Distinction Award, Urban Land Institute, Houston, 2010, for Lake Plaza
• Parks and Natural Areas Award, Houston-Galveston Area Council, 2009, for the Mary Gibbs and Jesse H. Jones Greenway
• Proud Partner Award, Keep Houston Beautiful's Mayor's Proud Partners Awards, 2009, for Lake Plaza and Hermann Park Railroad
• Leadership in Action Award, Leadership Houston, 2009, for Lake Plaza and Hermann Park Railroad
• Community Improvement Award, Museum District Business Alliance, 2008
• Good Brick Award, Greater Houston Preservation Alliance, 2006
• Stewardship Excellence Award, The Cultural Landscape Foundation, 2005
• General Award of Excellence, American Society of Landscape Architects, 2005, for the Heart of the Park restoration
